Done With Football

Well I am done with football! I will wait now for Tennis since both the Ravens and Eagles lost. Rich took the Eagles loss in stride, Pete snored and I kept leaving the room waiting for the Ravens. I kept leaving the room while they were playing too. I cooked a Prime Rib instead!

Football

Today I get to watch the Eagles and the Ravens. I switched teams last week after I saw the Ravens win. I seem to yell less at the Ravens!

Rich will continue being an Eagles fan. He seems to take their shortcomings in stride now. I used to watch his body language and tease him when he would lean forward and then back and put the brakes on now and then. I think he was also holding his breath as he turned red! He and "Pete" (man's best friend) are on the couch. One is pretending to read the Philadelphia Enquirer and one has his eyes rolled back in his head. You be the judge.

Granthum 1763 Antiques at Home

Granthum 1763 Antiques started in a Manor House near the little town of Wye Mills, Md. The tract of land that my house was on was the Granthum tract. I built my shop with a "special exception" as it was in my home. I did my first show in Union Mills, Md. a little show in an old Mill. My booth was upstairs. I took 23 quilts and I had no hlep so it was quite a chore to lug them up and down. One of the first customers I had came into my booth and asked how long it took me to make the quilts! I just stared at her dumbfounded, with no ready answer. Oh well it was fun and it didn't take long to discover that I enjoyed doing shows.

Many amusing stories followed. I come away from each and every auction or show enlightened with a few.
